I have a neighbor who used to work for Wagner and works on all kinds of Cat equipment that will be very interested in following this. We often talk about playing around with controlling some of the hydrolic equipment he has laying around with the boards I am developing. I had no idea where to start but it sounds like it may be something closer to what I'm used to then I expected. I'll show him your post, he will get a kick out of it. He may be very interested in the information that you publish if you are succesful, he has been thinking about starting his own business servicing Cat equipment. So keep us posted, we are very interested. P.S. my neighbor and I also have been talking about building a CNC for several years now. We have the rails and steppers already, now we are just waiting for me to get to a point with the Butterfly Hardware where they can control the equipment. Jack. |
