This Virtual Processor is not running yet. Please visit the AVR8 Soft Processor for a running AVR compatible processor with a working avr-gcc toolchain. The PAVR processor is for those who wish to work on bringing a Soft Processor up on the Butterfly Platform hardware.

Overview

The PAVR project is a VHDL implementation of an AVR compatible microcontroller. It is highly parameterized to allow a variety of AVR compatible chips to be emulated.

Status

As of October 10th, 2009 we are starting work on porting the PAVR microcontroller to the Butterfly Platform. We welcome anyone who is interested in working with us on porting PAVR.

Specifications

Description
This Soft Processor is not currently operational. Take a look at the AVR8 processor for an operational Soft Processor. An AVR compatible Virtual Processor. The PAVR is more capable than the AX8 AVR compatible Virtual Processor.
