RMII 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Wing
This Wing is intended to add Ethernet communication capabilities to the Butterfly Platform. It provides the physical layer using the Micrel KSZ8041NL via RMII (Reduced Media Independent Interface) to a Ethernet MAC in a FPGA or a Microcontroller.

FPGA support
This Wing can be used with any Ethernet MAC that supports RMII interface to the PHY. This includes a large variety of IP cores and embedded microcontrollers. A specially adapted MAC core is being developed to be used with this Wing.
