Yet Another VGA
|
Overview
|
The Yet Another VGA project is an example project for the Papilio One FPGA development board. The project has been selected from Opencores.com and implemented to provide an example for the Papilio VGA Wing.
YAVGA allows characters to be written anywhere on the screen and even allows custom character maps. It also allows 3 cursors to be drawn which can form a grid and cursors. Finally, it allows a waveform to be drawn to the screen. It is perfect for Oscope like data visualization designs and can probably be easily adapted to other purposes.
This is a community example project, so please feel free to extend the code, make it your own, and share back with the community. Please feel free to share any information you discover about this code in the Wiki so others can benefit from your explorations.
